About Me

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, cara is an actor, playwright, and director based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she lives with her husband and pet rabbit.

cara received her bachelors of arts in theatre from southwestern assemblies of god university in Waxahachie, texas.

While at college, she performed in several main stage productions, wrote and performed sketch comedy in the university's comedy revue "southwestern live" and made her directing debut with george orwell's nineteen eighty four.

cara has performed with several regional theatre companies, becoming a Equity Member Candidate while working with river city repertory theatre in Shreveport, Louisiana, Dallas children's theatre in Dallas, Texas, and renaissance theatreworks in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, amongst others. 

she made her Edinburgh festival fringe debut with her play, THE LITTLE GLASS SLIPPER AS PERFORMED BY THE QUEEN OF FRANCE AND HER FRIENDS and received multiple 5 star reviews. cara is currently writing her next play. 

cara's favorite work is when she collaborates with her sister, courtney. together they paint murals, produce theatre, and collect blue ribbons FROM arts AND craft competitions at the Texas state fair.
